Program: FAA Pre-Application Program Management Grissom Spaceport (Phase I)

PMG Consulting is leading Phase I program execution for the Grissom Spaceport development effort, supporting the Miami County Economic Development Authority (MCEDA) in preparation for the FAA Office of Commercial Space Transportation pre-application process. Leveraging Grissom’s 12,000-foot runway, new control tower, and surrounding aerospace ecosystem, PMG is aligning regulatory pathways, safety governance, and operational frameworks required to position the site as a viable inland spaceport.
This work establishes a disciplined foundation for future licensing while supporting broader national efforts to expand resilient, non-coastal aerospace infrastructure and regional space ecosystem development.
PMG Consulting is actively supporting regulatory coordination with the FAA for an advance aerospace flight system. The effort includes development of the operator licensing pathway under the FAA Part 450, integrating mission profiles, safety, framework alignment, and performance-based regulatory requirements.
This reflects PMG's role in advancing executable regulatory strategies for next generation aerospace systems from initial coordination through opertional readiness.
